The "good" camera was used for the pics I took of the finished dress!!!! BUT, it created a very distinct and distracting shadow on each and every pic!!! Gah!
I will re-take pics again, but for now, here is a pic - try to look past the shadow on the wall!

This came out lovely!
I don't notice any weird shadow, but the dress looks great!
You look great. I love this pattern. I'm going to track it down for myself.

Just lovely, Kellie! I can so see this dress, paddock side at the races; with a summer wide brimmed just barely off white hat, trimmed with the dark brown of the dress' collar and shoulders at the outer edge of the brim, as well as with a tailored pleated band. Brown and creamy white spectators; creamy white gloves with brown top stitching; and a tailored clutch. A grand look for Saratoga, right out of the 40's or very early 50's! Thanks for sharing your project.
The dress looks amazing. It is very elegant and stilish. It suits you very well and you too seem to be a very elegant and classy person :)
Good work!

The shadow effect really is a bit unnerving. I do think that you look great. I like how you have done this dress and I think that it compliments you wonderfully.
